Running Numbers

600 Estimated number of Powerball lottery tickets that were sold per second throughout Pennsylvania on Dec. 24, 2002. On Christmas Day, West Virginia resident Sue Dooley won the $314.9 million jackpot, the largest Powerball prize ever won by a single ticket holder.

3 Number of name changes undergone since Wanamaker's began its annual light show in 1956.

$3 Toll amount—for both coming and going—if you take the Delaware Turnkpike/I-95 to Delaware. Just something to think about when you get tempted to head to the home of you-know-what and pretty much nothing else.

3 Number of duty-free shops at Philadelphia International Airport. Anyone headed to France to visit relatives better pick up a carton of reds for stocking stuffers in case there aren't any champagne glasses to pocket during the flight. (Put 'em in your purse!)

0 Number of tickets left for Matisyahu's show at the TLA on Dec. 24. No Hasidic reggae on Christmas Eve for us this year. Another tradition lost.
