What's Cooking

Chickens of the Sea
Sat., Dec. 24, 5 p.m., $55
Test out those sea legs with Chef Carlo deMarco's (pictured) seven-fish Italian feast. Served Christmas Eve, the massive dinner includes salted cod, clams, lobster, mussels, monkfish, tuna and other seasonal fish. Reservations recommended. The Feast of Seven Fishes, 333 Belrose, 333 Belrose Lane, Radnor, 610-293-1000.

Le Booze
Seasonal, $9
A friend of mine once said a true martini has nothing but gin and vermouth in it. Le Jardin is breaking this rule with its newest specialty cocktails, including a Candy Appletini, a Pumpkin Brandy Alexander and a Vanilla Jasmine Martini. Just as well—after said friend dropped his words of wisdom, he called me his "papoo" and asked if I loved him. Le Jardin Happy Hour, Le Jardin, 251 S. 18th St., 215-545-0821.
Fiesta Cubano
Sat., Dec. 31, 4 p.m.-midnight, $85-$175
Cuba Libre is mourning 2005 Irish wake-style with a daylong celebration. Patrons can order off the restaurant's a la carte menu until 8 p.m., or sign up for the four-course meal an hour later. The prix fixe fix includes a champagne toast, party hats and salsa dancing. Book early—it's New Year's, people. New Year's Eve 2006, Cuba Libre, 10 S. Second St., 215-627-0666.

River Run
Sat., Dec. 31, 5 p.m.-1 a.m., $90-$125
Sail away from Philly on the Moshulu party boat. After a four-course meal including salmon osso bucco and the chef's grand dessert tasting, the party moves on deck for the Penn's Landing fireworks. Good Food and Fireworks, Moshulu, 401 S. Columbus Blvd., 215-923-2500.
